we had a pleasant experience at the abbey, primarily thanks to the lovely staff, especially mel, who provided really good service. the location is fantastic, being right by a beautiful beach, and the rooms, while a bit dated, were spacious with lovely views of the pool and garden. we appreciated the daily fresh linens and towels, which added a nice touch to our stay. overall, it felt comfortable and convenient for our trip.
The resort needs some serious upgrades. 😕.

We got great value for our money with a spacious room that had a fine view and a lovely balcony. The location was perfect for beach access and the staff were cute and accommodating.
Breakfast offerings could greatly improve with better vegetarian options.

Nothing really.

While the indoor pool and family-friendly facilities were a hit with my daughter, the room felt dated and needed maintenance. The beach was crowded, but having the pools nearby was a lifesaver. Dining at the poolside restaurant was enjoyable, and the staff were friendly. it's a decent spot for families but expect some shortcomings.

We had an amazing New Year stay! The location is perfect, just a short stroll to the beach, making it ideal for evening walks. Our apartment was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, which made our family time so enjoyable. Plus, the three pools were fantastic and never felt overcrowded. The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and cute.
. The decor felt a bit outdated, and some of the linens could definitely use an upgrade. We also experienced some confusion with our billing, which was a bit frustrating.

Well-trained helpful staff, well-equipped spacious studio room serviced daily and lovely indoor pool when weather poor. Beautiful location for autumn walks by the sea and trips into Margaret River.
Did actually complain on hotel feedback form (and received prompt reply)concerning cigarette smoke constantly drifting onto our balcony from smokers on surrounding balconies/verandahs. Although guests are requested not to smoke we believe this should be made clearer by putting 'No Smoking' signs on the balconies/verandahs themselves.

A Fantastic Experience at Abbey Beach Resort
During my recent business trip, my director chose the Abbey Beach Resort, and I couldn't be more grateful for the selection! the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. One particular team member, a lovely lady from Devon, stood out with her genuine friendliness and charm. The night staff were equally impressive, especially the gentleman who listened patiently to my personal story and provided comfort with his thoughtful words. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were a highlight during my stay, along with easy access to the private beach that made my downtime refreshing. Dining at the resort was a treat, especially the beef and truffle fries that left me dreaming about them long after I returned home. I even baked a loaf of bread to show my appreciation for the front-of-house team!
Delay in food service.

Sports facilities, spacious, well appointed accomodation. Being able to park near the room
Too expensive for families to eat at the hotel, even in the cafe. Could do with a shop where basics can be bought eg milk and bread
